1.     What is the difference between weather and climate?

Weather is the atmospheric condition of a given place at a given time.

Climate is the average weather condition over a larger area for a period of about 35-40  year.

2.     What are sea breezes and Land breezes?

Sea breeze

During day time the warm air above the land become lighter and rises up.

The cooler air from the sea blows towards the land.

This is known as sea breeze.

Land breeze

At night time warm air above the sea rises up.

The cooler air from the land blows outwards to the sea.

This is known as land breeze.

3.     The clothing of people varies according to the change in weather and climate explain?

The weather instruments helps us to measure the changes of weather.

Rain gauge – measures the amount of rainfall.

5.     Differentiate between tropical and temperate climate.
